Vanilla Bean Matcha Latte With Maple Syrup and Almond Milk

For the past couple of months, I've been obsessed with different matcha latte recipes. If you're lucky enough, your local coffeehouse will have one on their menu which is probably the easiest way to enjoy this delicious drink. If not (which is sadly my case) you'll have to make one at home.

That's not even a bad idea – that way you get to experiment with different ingredients and, most importantly, find the perfect combination that fits you in every possible way!  Just a couple of months ago, I have decided it was about time to take matters into my own hands and create a perfect recipe which is easy to make (you probably don't want to spend a lot of time making coffee, right?) and tastes delicious.

Honestly, I'm getting better and better at it and I can't believe it took me so long to create this fantastic recipe. This one is based on a freshly scraped vanilla bean, maple syrup, and my favorite – almond milk and matcha ice cubes.

Matcha ice cubes are a great way to add some superb green tea taste to your drinks. Simply whisk together some almond milk and matcha green tea powder in a small bowl. Optionally, add some agave nectar or maple syrup and freeze the mixture overnight. Tastes perfect every time!
