Utensils

  • Whisker
  • Kitchen spatula
  • Stand mixer,

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Line some parchment paper over a baking sheet and set aside.

  • In a medium-sized bowl. Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Set aside.

  • Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl combine butter and brown sugar. Beat well on high speed until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and continue to beat for one more minute.

Transfer the mixture into a pipping bag. Pipe a blob onto the center of half the cookies. Top them with the clean cookies and gently press to form little sandwiches. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Matcha Oreos With Vanilla Flavor

I absolutely adore these lovely homemade matcha Oreos. Rich flavors and valuable nutrients are the first things that come to mind when I think of these amazing cookies.

The creamy green filling is made with the highest quality matcha green tea powder, sugar, and the smallest amount of vanilla extract which beautifully neutralizes these crispy cookies.

For this recipe, I have decided to use the raw cocoa powder and brown sugar to make these cookies as healthier as possible without losing that recognizable oreo taste.

These lovely sweets are relatively easy to make and will be a perfect treat for your guests, especially the little ones who will love the vibrant green color and the perfect flavor. Serve these cookies with some milk, tea, or coffee and enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of worldwide-famous Oreos!

I'm a huge fan of Oreos. They are good as they are simply served with just a cup of cold milk, but they are also great for lots of other dessert recipes. There are numerous filling options you can choose from. Matcha-vanilla flavor is my absolute favorite one. However, you can try this, somewhat different recipe with mint and almond extract. You'll need:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp mint extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 2 tbsp matcha green tea powder

The preparation process is basically the same as the one described above. Combine the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat until completely smooth. Use to fill your cookies and refrigerate for about 20-30 mintues before serving. Have fun and enjoy!
