Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 2 cups marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 cups puffed rice
  • 1 tsp Zen Spirit maca powder
  • 12oz melted chocolate
  • ¼ cup peanuts

Utensils

  • Small baking pan,
  • Cooking spray,
  • Zen Spirit knife

DIRECTIONS

  • Generously coat a small baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  • Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat and add marshmallows, peanut butter, and salt. Cook, stirring constantly until marshmallows have completely melted, about 4 minutes.

  • Stir in puffed rice and maca powder. Generously coat a wooden spoon or a spatula with cooking spray and mix well.

  • Remove from the heat.

  • Add half of the mixture to the prepared baking pan and pour in half of the melted chocolate. Top with the remaining rice mixture and finish with the remaining melted chocolate. Sprinkle with peanuts.

  • Refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove from the refrigerator and cut into equal bars. Serve.

As for Zen Spirit maca powder, this really depends on your taste. You can add up to one tablespoon of maca powder for the best possible result. Simply taste the mixture while cooking and adjust the quantity according to taste.


Of course, you can stir in some raisins, finely chopped nuts (such as cashews or hazelnuts), or a tablespoon of seeds to make these lovely bars a true nutritional bomb. The choice is yours! Don't forget to top everything with a nice layer of high-quality chocolate and sprinkle with some more peanuts. Refrigerate until completely thick and serve!
