Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp Maca Powder
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup dark chocolate

Utensils

  • 6”pan or a silicone mold

DIRECTIONS

  • In a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix until combined. Firmly press into mold or a 6” prepared baking pan.

  • Melt dark chocolate. Add chocolate and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil in a heatproof bowl. Sit over a pan of barely simmering water (a bain marie) and allow the chocolate to melt, stirring occasionally.

  • Once the chocolate has melted, gently pour over the bars. If you’re using a pan, spread the chocolate into an even layer with a kitchen spatula.

  • Cover the bars and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (preferably overnight), or until the bars are firm and the chocolate is set.

  • Remove the pan from the fridge. Using a sharp knife, cut into 8 bars.

  • Bars can be stored in a dish or individually wrapped. Keep refrigerated up to a month for a firmer texture or unrefrigerated up to a week for a softer texture. Enjoy!
