Baked Matcha Waffles

Baked Matcha Waffles final product

There is nothing like a mouthwatering smell of freshly prepared waffles in the morning, wouldn’t you agree? With less than 15 minutes in the oven, these baked matcha waffles are a truly delicious way to start your day.

Instead of cooking your waffles in a standard waffle iron which can be quite a headache to clean afterward, try baking your waffles in a silicone waffle pan instead – it’s far less complicated, takes only 15 minutes of cooking time, and the end results are awesome! And, as always, everything tastes far better with a small amount of matcha green tea powder. Two tablespoons will be just enough to transform this fantastic breakfast into a mind-blowing treat everybody will simply adore.

Top your baked matcha waffles with some fresh or frozen fruit, drizzle with some raw honey, and they’re ready to be served. And for all of those who wish to cut some sugar, simply replace it with your usual sweetener (granulated stevia or erythritol will be perfect) and enjoy!
