Who would have thought that an old sandwich bread can be turned into something so delicious and beautiful? Well, it actually can! And it is also an excellent idea for a delicious breakfast everybody will love.
This is a baked French toast loaf stuffed with delicious chocolate filling and then topped with some fresh strawberries. The bread layers taste almost the same as your classic French toast but far healthier because it’s baked instead of fried.
When you’re done making layers, sprinkle everything with some more coconut sugar to get a lovely crispy finish a true French toast must have. As for the middle, chocolate part, it a soft and fluffy layer of cream cheese, melted chocolate, delicious Zen Spirit cacao powder, and a pinch of vanilla extract and it tastes just like chocolate cheesecake (which it actually is when you look at the ingredients).
The most important part, however, is cooling the cheesecake completely before trying to slice it. This way, the chocolate layer will be thick enough to hold the bread layers together which is necessary to slice the French toast before serving.
The cheesecake will taste perfect when left in the refrigerator overnight which is an excellent way to prepare a beautiful breakfast the night before and simply serve it in the morning. Top with some freshly sliced fruit and serve with a cup of warm cacao powder.
