Almond Maca Energy Balls with Oats and Peanut Butter

I'm always looking for a good energy balls recipe because they're extremely easy to prepare, loaded with so many different nutrients, and above all – these fantastic snacks reduce my afternoon sugar cravings to a minimum.

This particular recipe is based on my favorite combination of ingredients – creamy peanut butter and sweet dates that work perfectly together.

Adding one tablespoon of maca powder will significantly increase the overall health benefits of this recipe and give you an extra dose of energy you wish to see in classic energy balls.

Oats can be replaced with any other ground grains you have on hand or even some minced almonds or walnuts (or even a combination of both) as long as you keep the dry/wet ingredients ratio in balance.

Optionally, add a few drops of vanilla extract and enjoy!
