Ingredients

  • 5oz pretzels
  • 12oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup peanut butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Zen Spirit cacao powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Utensils

  • Microwave-safe bowl,
  • Hand mixer
  • Silicone muffin tin

DIRECTIONS

  • When done, gently remove ‘nests’ from the muffin tin and fill each with mini eggs. Serve.

    Add pretzels to a medium bowl and gently break into smaller pieces using your hands. Set aside.

  • Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Take the bowl out and stir well. Repeat the process until completely melted.

  • Remove the melted chocolate from the microwave and add melted peanut butter, Zen Spirit cacao powder, and vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer, beat well until fully combined.

  • Stir in pretzels and mix again with a spoon.

  • Lightly coat a 6-cup muffin tin with some cooking spray. Fill each muffin cup with the mixture, making a well in the center.

  • Refrigerate for 1 hour. When done, gently remove ‘nests’ from the muffin tin and fill each with mini eggs. Serve.

As for the preparation, a simple muffin tin will do the job. However, the best idea is to use a silicone muffin tin because it’s much easier to remove the nests once they’re chilled. If you’re using your regular muffin tin, make sure to generously coat them with cooking spray or simply line them with paper liners which will help you to get the nests out of the tin.
